Cookies, Baskets & More is a family-owned business that was founded in 2006 after purchasing an existing basket company and their internet website. We offer a retail location in Columbus, IN where customers are welcome to browse, choose products for baskets, bring in some of their own products to include in a basket, and even bring in their own container or basket. We then put the basket together and hand wrap including a beautiful hand-made bow design to coordinate not only with the color scheme but also the occasion and recipient. In addition to gift baskets we also offer homemade, from scratch cookies using tried and true family recipes as well as some delicious new recipes. We bake cookies every day so you know you are getting the freshest product when you purchase cookies from Cookies, Baskets & More. Individually designed cookie bouquets in artistic pots and containers are also a specialty. One of the owners is an artist who prides herself in not only individually decorating the cookies but also painting the containers with special messages and images meaningful to the recipient and occasions. Our website has just been redesigned to make it easier to navigate and to convey the warm, friendly atmosphere the visitors to our shop enjoy. Once we receive an order from our website, we put the basket together and if the order is received prior to 1:00 pm EST, we ship it that same day. Orders received later are shipped the next day. A personal note that may interest you is that we started this business as a way for one of the partners to replace the income she lost after giving birth to quadruplets. The babies have their own special room at the retail location where they play while mom works in the shop and helps manage the business. All of the employees pitch-in to help meet the babies’ needs and insure the business meets our customers’ needs.
